We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Supply Chain professional to join our team in Australia. This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end operational transactions, coordinating closely with customers, suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams to ensure efficient and timely movement of products.

The successful candidate will bring strong logistics and supply chain experience, commercial awareness, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. They will be highly organised, proactive, and capable of working independently while effectively collaborating with stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones.

While this role is based in our Melbourne office, we offer flexible working arrangements, including a hybrid work model and flexibility around working hours where operational requirements allow. Given the international nature of our business, occasional collaboration outside standard business hours may be required to support customers, suppliers, and colleagues across different time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the end-to-end administrative process for overseas LCL and FCL shipments, from supplier dispatch through to arrival including collating, checking and maintaining shipping, commercial and customs documentation
  • Prioritise and manage multiple concurrent shipments, customer requirements, and operational activities in a dynamic, fast-paced distribution environment.
  • Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers and logistics partners to obtain required documentation, confirmations and updates, ensuring timely action and resolution.
  • Identify and resolving discrepancies between supplier documentation, purchase orders and shipment details.
  • Work closely with 3PL’s to ensure timely and accurate receipts of shipments and to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Keep customers aware of stock movements through clear communication channels
  • Maintain accurate data in ERP accordance with company policies.
  • Show initiative and identify opportunities to improve processes, maximise performance, and reduce costs.
  • Communicate shipment details with local and international teams.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key suppliers, customers, and service providers to ensure the effective execution of physical bulk and containerised operations.
  • Perform other ad hoc tasks as directed by the Manager.

About you:

  • Formal Certification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional logistics or supply chain experience; polymers distribution experience would be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of Incoterms, import/export procedures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience working within a high-volume transactional environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong
  • communication skills and experience working closely with third-party providers.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, including, Inventory management, purchasing and procurement and Customer Service processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, positive, and results-focused approach.
