Meaningful Work From Day One

This role leads the regional Demand Planning and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) strategy for Brown-Forman Korea. Serving as the primary liaison between commercial teams, customers, and Supply Planning, you will transform commercial goals into actionable supply plans through advanced analytics. We are seeking a detail-oriented lead with the analytical prowess to solve complex logistical challenges and the communication skills to align diverse stakeholders.

What You Can Expect

1. Demand Forecasting & IBP Leadership

• Facilitate the Monthly IBP Cycle: Lead consensus forecast meetings with Finance, Marketing, and Commercial teams to align on a single demand signal.
• Strategic Planning: Develop short- and long-term demand plans by integrating statistical modeling with market intelligence and sales trend analysis.
• Forecast Optimization: Continuous improvement of forecast accuracy by challenging assumptions, reducing bias, and managing sales exceptions.

2. Supply Chain Optimization & Inventory Management

• Global Collaboration: Partner with the Global Supply Planning team to manage replenishment, maintain Target Days of Inventory (DOI), and mitigate potential shortages.
• Inventory Efficiency: Monitor market inventory levels and execute timely actions to deplete slow-moving stock and minimize holding costs.
• Process Excellence: Audit supply chain processes to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive operational efficiency.

3. NPD & Value-Added Services (VAS)

• VAP Performance Analysis: Analyze actual VAP sales versus forecasts to identify variances and provide actionable insights for future planning.
• Launch Management: Serve as the supply chain lead for New Product Introductions (NPD), coordinating with Registration and Marketing for flawless execution.
• Life Cycle Management: Manage production transitions, packaging changes, and Route-to-Consumer (RTC) shifts to ensure market responsiveness.
• Production Coordination: Plan and post-production orders for repacks and VAPs at third-party warehouses while maintaining the SAP database for local SKUs.
• Data Integrity: Maintain the SAP database for local SKUs (repacks/VAPs) and manage brand/team allocations.

4. Performance & Initiative Support

• Metrics & Reporting: Manage and report on key supply chain KPIs, providing actionable insights to senior management.
• Regional Subject Matter Expert: Serve as the regional subject matter expert for both local and global supply chain initiatives.

What You Bring to the Table

• Experience: 5+ years of supply chain experience, with at least 3 years specifically in Demand Planning or a strategic planning role.
• Industry: Mandatory experience in the FMCG sector.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related quantitative field.
• Technical Skills: High proficiency in ERP systems ( SAP IBP & Kinaxis preferred) and the MS Office Suite.
• Core Competencies:
  • Strong understanding of the IBP or S&OP process.
  • Analytical ability to translate complex data into strategic business stories.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders across diverse cultures.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Language: Fluency in English is required.
