About The Role
We are now looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to join our Eastern Europe Supply Chain Team. Knowledge of Hungarian language is required for this position.
In this role, you will support supply chain operations in Hungary, ensuring suppliers meet business requirements, EHS standards, and KPIs. You will also coordinate customer shipments and secure high-quality service from logistics partners.If you value accuracy, teamwork, and enjoy working in a dynamic, international environment — this role is for you.

Tasks

What You Will Do:

  • Manage supply chain operations in the Hungarian market, including inventory management, planning and execution of Tier 1 product purchases (in cooperation with the central planning team), coordination of international transport, domestic distribution, and reverse logistics of chemical products in accordance with legal procedures and regulations
  • Negotiate terms of cooperation with external warehouses, prepare contracts with logistics service providers, and coordinate expenses related to the storage and distribution of goods
  • Operate the JDE system in the context of supply chain activities
  • Manage deliveries to the warehouse in line with procedures and legal regulations (Inventory Management, Inventory Accuracy, SLOMO, UFU Product Management)
  • Coordinate and manage the annual inventory process in accordance with procedures and legal regulations
  • Monitor and manage OTIF performance
  • Cooperate closely with related departments: Supply Chain in the Eastern Europe region, Customer Service, Procurement, Finance, and Warehouse
  • Prepare reports and present results related to Supply Chain performance, including monthly reporting
  • Manage Supply Chain complaints
  • Oversee indirect purchases in accordance with legal procedures and regulations
  • Identify and implement optimization opportunities within the local supply chain

Requirements

What Are We Looking For?

Experience & Knowledge

  • Practical knowledge of logistics processes, warehouse management, and supply planning principles

Education

  • University degree in logistics, production management, or a related field

Skills

  • Experience with supply chain systems and ERP tools (JDE is a plus)
  • Strong command of MS Office and ability to work with large data sets
  • Advanced English and Hungarian

Soft Skills

  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Proactive mindset and willingness to learn and develop
