Job Description

Topcon Healthcare sees eye health differently. Our vision is to empower providers with smart and efficient technologies for enhanced patient care. Keeping pace with the ever-changing landscape of the healthcare industry, we offer the latest integrated solutions including advanced multimodal imaging, vendor-neutral data management, and groundbreaking remote diagnostic technology. By investing in value-driven innovations, Topcon works to enable people to enjoy good health and a high quality of life.

The Supply Chain & Service Controller (EMEA) is a permanent role combining supply chain finance with full ownership of field service and repairs performance controlling. Reporting to the Operations Director, this role drives financial governance across EMEA, covering both product flow economics and post-sale service profitability.

As the primary finance business partner for Supply Chain, Logistics, Field Service, Warehouse, and Commercial teams, you own the end-to-end PSI (Production, Sales & Inventory) process and play a key role in bridging operational performance with financial outcomes.

This role goes beyond a standard controller position. You connect repair economics, inventory valuation, COGS control, and demand planning into a single EMEA-wide view, while ensuring strong compliance, data quality, and reporting standards.

Qualifications

Key responsibilities

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for supply chain and service operations
  • Oversee COGS, supply chain costs, and drive service profitability improvements
  • Own inventory valuation and optimize stock levels across warehouses and field locations
  • Govern the PSI process, including forecast validation, supply alignment, and inventory planning
  • Monitor and improve field service KPIs (repair cost, turnaround time, technician utilization)
  • Drive working capital optimization and ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and SOX
  • Act as a strategic business partner, translating operational drivers into financial insights
  • Deliver clear, data-driven reporting and continuously improve processes using SAP and Power BI

 What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Supply Chain
  • 5+ years of experience in controlling or supply chain finance
  • Strong background in PSI / S&OP and inventory management
  • Experience with SAP and BI tools (Power BI)
  • Analytical, hands-on, and strong business partner
  • Fluent in English

You’re likely someone who:

  • Has experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and BI tools like Power BI
  • Brings strong knowledge of supply chain finance, cost controlling, and PSI / S&OP
  • Understands financial reporting (COGS, variance analysis, working capital)
  • Is confident working with IFRS, GAAP, and SOX
  • Thinks analytically and translates data into clear insights
  • Communicates effectively in English
  • Acts as a proactive and challenging business partner
  • Takes ownership and works accurately and reliably
  • Stays structured and manages multiple priorities with ease
  • Collaborates well and builds strong stakeholder relationships

Nice to have:

  • A Master’s degree or MBA
  • Professional certifications such as CIMA, ACCA, or CPA
  • Supply chain certifications (e.g., APICS CSCP or CPIM)
  • Experience within a medical device, manufacturing, or distribution environment
