The Supply Chain Sales Executive (SCSE)isaccountable for developing and executing an account strategy to grow Cardinal Health Distribution withinlocal accounts across a defined territory.They are theprimary Cardinal Health contact for SupplyChainDistributionTheymaintainan overall view of opportunities to drive standardization and savings both in and out of the Cardinal Channel. SCSEs work extremelyclosewithalltheir acute Cardinal Health sales teams to maximize penetration of Cardinal Health Brand product, services, and solutions at their accounts.This is a highly visible position that reports directly to the Region Director with ownership for meeting and exceeding sales goals in assigned accounts.

Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, prepare, and executeeffective sales strategies thatmaintainthe existing base of business and support the close of competitive business and revenue growth opportunitieswithin given territory.
Build & manageconsultative relationshipswithexecutives,distribution,account plans,supply chain,GPOand productpurchasingdecision makers
Develop conversion & substitution strategywhen needed.
Analyze business issues and lead the development of customized action plans to drive value for the customer and Cardinal HealthPrepare bids, price quotes, RFP responses, and presentations for distribution services.Establish and lead business review process, including documentation & communication of financial and operational KPI’s
Consultbuyers and promoteCardinalHealththrough participation in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows
Utilizeand update sales tools to accurately address trends in existing base of business, create call strategies, andto manageterritory and strategic business plans
Completeall administrative requirements ina timelyand comprehensive manner (expenses, compliance, salesforce.com, as directed)
Meet andmaintainthe requirements of all key vendor credentialing entities
Maintainknowledge of the current industry / competitive landscapeincluding,GPOs, healthcare economics, reimbursement,competitorsand competitive products etc.
Foster relationships with Marketing, Customer Service,BusinessDevelopmentand other key internal stakeholder groups
Assistin, "root cause analysis"-systematic process used toidentifythe underlying causes of problems or errors within the distribution chain, such as shortages, delivery delays, orincorrect product shipments, with the goal of understanding "why" the issue occurred and implementing solutions to prevent future occurrences
Performs other job-related duties as requested to ensure sales goals andobjectivesare met.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years sales and/or marketing experience in healthcare/medical product and services industry preferred
Demonstrated financial acumen, including strategic and analytical skills,ideallyknowledge of hospital and healthcare economics
Strong background in selling situations, andabilityto cultivate andmaintainexecutive relationshipsStrong understanding& experience withroot cause analysis.
Demonstrated ability to manage customer expectationsExcellent organizational skills
Ability to develop and expand relationships with key stakeholderstoachieve businessobjectives
Strong cross-organizational collaboration skills; ability tooperateeffectively in a matrixed environment
Demonstrated success in complex negotiations
Outstanding communication,presentationand interpersonal skills.
A valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 States with a clean driving record
Ability to travel30%
