Our By Light Implementation team, the premier provider of innovative Information Technology (IT) services and communications support to the Department of Defense and Federal Agencies is growing. We’re increasing our team to support the US Army Comprehensive Modernization (COMPMOD). The program includes conducting survey and design, engineer, furnish, install, secure, and test (EFIS&T) solutions to include non-secure internet protocol router (NIPR), secure internet protocol router (SIPR), Wi-Fi, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), Inside Plant (ISP), Outside Plant (OSP), and Voice Modernization at U.S. Army Base/Post/Camp/Station (B/P/C/S) across the Continental United States (CONUS).

We are seeking a highly motivated A Supply Chain Risk Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks within an organization's supply chain to ensure the stability and efficiency of operations. This role involves analyzing potential threats like supply disruptions, geopolitical instability, and environmental factors, and developing strategies to minimize their impact. Through collaboration with the government, suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams, the Supply Chain Risk Manager ensures that contingency plans are in place and maintains robust risk management practices to protect the company's supply lines and uphold service levels.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze supply chain data to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities
  • Develop Supply Chain Risk Management Plan
  • Work closely with Army customer
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions
  • Collaborate with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal departments to ensure risk mitigation measures are in place
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits of suppliers and logistics partners
  • Maintain and update risk management policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Communicate risk findings and recommendations to management and key stakeholders
  • Track and report on key risk indicators and metrics
  • Develop and conduct training programs on supply chain risk management for internal teams
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to supply chain risk management
  • Coordinate responses to supply chain disruptions, including crisis management and business continuity planning
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of risk controls and make recommendations for improvement
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure risk is appropriately managed in contracts
  • Lead cross-functional teams in risk mitigation projects and initiatives
  • Utilize risk management software and tools to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of risk assessments

Required Experience/Qualifications

  • Experience working Army logistics and risk management
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or risk management
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing risk management strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners
  • Proficiency in risk management software and tools
  • Solid understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, and procurement practices
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to supply chain risk management
  • Ability to conduct detailed risk assessments and audits
  • Experience in crisis management and continuity planning
  • Ability to develop and deliver training programs on supply chain risk management
  • Up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging risks
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Certification in supply chain or risk management is a plus (e.g., CSCP, CRISC)
  • Experience working with the Army

  • Active Secret Clearance
