Primary Purpose of Role:

As a Supply Chain Risk and Business Analyst, you will work within the Procurement team to perform data transformation, financial modeling and develop PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership. Successful candidates will possess detailed financial analysis expertise, strong collaborative and execution capabilities, a practical and flexible mindset, and high attention to detail and work quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create total cost of ownership models comparing negotiated scenarios against status quo for various sourcing strategies and cost reduction initiatives.

  • PowerPoint presentations utilizing Efficient Elements and other Allison tools to create effective communications and presentations to support projects, team meetings, etc.

  • Effectively communicating to ensure clarity and alignment across a multitude of stakeholders to support the effective delivery of projects on agreed timelines.

  • Effective collaboration, able to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders across different geographies and seniority levels.

  • Data analysis including ability to analyze data in excel requiring pivot tables, look-ups, etc.

  • Provide data-driven and in-depth financial analyses and metrics for decision-making across our teams Assess financial supply chain risks. Assess the severity of these risks and offer processes to mitigate these risks. Manage supplier watch list and review regularly with the leadership.

  • Manage tariff surcharge program across supply base, providing Finance with variance analysis, accruals, and cost per unit models monthly and as needed.

  • Monitor price and market development for the relevant raw materials and commodities.

  • Develop strategies to manage various supply chain risks under the guidance of internal risk management policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Preferred Degree(s): Finance, Accounting, or related field

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a global organization (Experience in Knowledge Management or Consulting a plus)

  • Exposure to a variety of purchasing / supply chain concepts.
