Job Description

We are seeking Supply Chain Process Managersto join our expanding team in Duncan, SC. After gaining knowledge of our environment, there is the opportunity for this position to work under our Hybrid schedule working both in the office and remotely.

As a member of our AFL Global Supply Chain organization, the Supply Chain Process Manager role will work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, Planning, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Logistics, Finance and external Suppliers to ensure end to end Supply Chain execution of processes, master data, and service agreements. This job's key role is to develop best practice standardized processes to enable cost savings, improve service levels to customers, automate transactional processes and identify and mitigate Supply Chain risks.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data and processes, find creative solutions, generate reports, and present findings to management
  • Drive cost savings through raw material consolidation, leveraging multiple plant volumes, dual sourcing, etc.
  • Manage communications and documentation regarding supply chain risks while leading a cross functional group to mitigate near and long term risks
  • Identify and document supplier risks, material outages, and overall supply chain exposure. Develop robust scorecards and assess risk within the supplier network by working closely with commodity management
  • Review and improve cross functional supply chain practices while ensuring robust processes and documentation
  • Assess quality of supply chain data and ensure there’s structured processes governing both raw materials, WIP, and FG’s
  • Work very closely with planners, buyers, customer service, and sales to ensure processes are efficient and communications flow seamlessly
  • Act as a back-up for cross functional supply chain team members, as needed

Qualifications

  • BS in Business, Supply Chain, STEM, or closely related equivalent and 5 or more years' experience in a Supply Chain related role
  • Able to analyze large amounts of data to make high level recommendations. Collect and organize information used to support decision making, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills and proficiency in other applications
  • Supply Chain Planning, Order Management, or Purchasing experience with decision-making space, communication and meeting facilitation mastery, and good business acumen
  • Relationship skills to be the point of contact and maintain and develop positive business relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Demonstrate outstanding critical thinking, presentation, and decision-making skills
  • Experience in process development and optimization. Six Sigma certification a plus.
  • Project management skills and ability to lead multiple projects concurrently. PMP certification a plus.
  • Advanced planning tools and ERP systems experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills; possess the ability to work at all levels of the company
  • Willingness to travel when required
