Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Process Analyst has a vital role with knowledge in the complete supply chain to support SCC in securing supply of production material to ensure the VCCH production. Trouble shooting, fact gathering, data collection and analysis to develop reports, graphs, and presentations for daily SCC tasks, management reporting, and SCC process improvement.

What you'll do

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, establish, and improve standardized work for SCC.
  • Analyze problems, find root causes, develop counter measures, and implement problem solutions.
  • Continuous self-development in systems and processes (advanced Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Awareness and recognition of needed support in SCC team with daily tasks and act.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the complete supply chain from supplier to goods receipt, the material planning process, and restrictions in the plant production process.
  • Daily compiling of data to create reports for SQD.
  • Reports for Alerts, LDJIS coverage, ASNs, Series Tracker, Housekeeping file, A-reports, Backlogs, Parts marked ND, etc.
  • Gather, request, and track LDJIS Reorders, container requests, etc.
  • Monitoring and necessary action: Discrepancy log (SCC downtime due to supplier), LOCD No Stock, Air GC
  • Support recovery efforts for material expedites as required.
  • Utilize tools such as Volvo Supplier Improvement (VSIM), A-reports, phone/online conferences, F2F meetings, and escalation activities.
  • Follow up on department KPIs by performing the tasks required to reach the organizational targets.
  • Active participation in cross-functional workgroups.
  • Working according to Volvo Cars principles.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • No corrective action in last 12 months
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, Word)
  • Must be able to work OT based on needs.
