Job Title: Supply Chain Planning & Strategy Professional

Location: Barrow-in-Furness, onsite 2 days per fortnight with flexibility for more pending business needs

Salary: From £42,215 (DOE)

You’ll work across the full supply‑chain stream, develop and refine processes, and collaborate with a broad network of internal and external stakeholders. This role gives you end‑to‑end visibility of a high‑value programme and the opportunity to influence strategy, build new ways of working and generate insights that support senior‑level decision making.

Core duties:

  • Ownership of supply chain intelligence data which informs the scope and prioritisation of programme activity
  • Creating and maintaining communication and reporting materials to support and inform strategy and governance reporting
  • Ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders on capability requirements and delivery timescales
  • Supporting development of new supplier projects through forward supplier analysis

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in a supply chain, project management or Strategy development
  • Skilled in communications & reporting, with the ability to present insights in multiple formats
  • Confident in managing stakeholders and communicating effectively at all levels
  • Proactive, adaptable and comfortable operating in a dynamic and evolving environment

The BCCR Supply Chain Team:

The BCCR Supply Chain team are shaping capability, capacity and resilience for future programmes. You'll influence how we work, develop new skills and create insights to inform senior level decision making on this high-impact project. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
