By contributing to effective communication, timely problem‑solving, and continuous process improvement, the team plays a key part in securing service excellence and enabling smooth manufacturing operations.

  • Ensure accurate and up‑to‑date data in our ERP (NetSuite), including delivery dates, request dates, quantities, and other related fields.

  • Review stock availability, maintain adequate inventory levels, and align purchase orders with changes in demand or supplier schedules.

  • Follow up with suppliers on a weekly/daily basis to secure on‑time deliveries, communicating changes in manufacturing planning when required.

  • Resolve delivery incidents (damaged materials, quantity deviations, bumped goods) by coordinating with suppliers, warehouse, and manufacturing teams, ensuring issues are reported and closed correctly.

  • Review and resolve invoice discrepancies related to quantities or pricing, updating NetSuite when applicable and escalating recurring issues for corrective action with suppliers.

  • Support alignment between Procurement and Manufacturing by communicating relevant supplier information and helping mitigate delivery risks or bottlenecks.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data accuracy, delivery performance, and procurement efficiency.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Living Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

  • Experience in Procurement or Supply Chain operations, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Strong attention to details and high accuracy when handling operational and ERP system data.

  • Ability to work with ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a strong advantage).

  • Good communication skills for collaboration with suppliers, Team Leader, Category Managers, Manufacturing team, and internal stakeholders.

  • Capacity to follow defined processes, manage priorities, and deliver on deadlines.
