How you’ll make an impact:
Supply Chain Planner (Inventory Controller) ensures the right level of inventory for a dedicated BU/product portfolio in EMEA region to meet the needs of the company and our customers. They work with global or regional functions such as Demand and Supply Planners, Logistics, Customer services, Quality and Regulatory etc.
Continuously monitor inventory levels and coverage projection to achieve target levels and avoid or minimize shortages
Monitor outbound orders and reconcile them against Forecast (sales, consignment orders and inventory replenishment)
Liaise with Global planning and/or Manufacturing on projected shortages
Track inbound deliveries with carriers and warehouse incl. prioritization
Provides regular communication on potential inventory coverage and backorders (root cause & recovery)
Execute inventory allocation for constraint products based on given priorities
Monitor allocation of inventory to outbound orders and initiate corrective actions to ensure delivery on time
Perform Excess & Obsolete inventory analysis and reclassification of inventory on regular basis
Identify & support action plans to minimize E&O
Monitor inventory disposition, execute discards and returns to vendors
Review and approve cycle count request for inventory adjustments
Drive and/or support continuous improvement projects in area of supply chain planning and execution
Act as a back-up in case of absence of team members
What you'll need (Required):
A university degree, along with several years of relevant experience in inventory management within the supply chain, is required.
Proficiency in English.
What else we look for (Preferred):
Knowledge and experience in supply chain planning is a strong advantage, preferably within an APS environment (e.g., JDA, APO)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply logical reasoning to evaluate different approaches and solutions
Ability to prioritize and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Excellent communication skills, including cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
Strong data analysis skills, particularly in MS Excel; experience with tools such as QlikView is a plus
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (e.g., JDE, SAP)
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within geographically dispersed teams
