MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for planning, balancing, and coordinating the supply and demand of fresh berries across multiple origins, ensuring optimal product flow into the UK and European markets. Working closely with sales, logistics, growers, and quality teams, this role ensures product availability while minimizing stockouts, excess stock, costs, and waste. The planner provides accurate forecasts, maintains visibility of stock and production, and supports the execution of commercial programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Supply & Demand Planning
- Plan and balance supply and demand of fresh berries in coordination with sales, logistics, and quality teams.
- Develop and manage weekly and seasonal commercial programs.
- Monitor sales forecasts and match them against real product availability.
- Adjust plans proactively according to changes in sales pace, production updates, and quality assessments.
2. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Maintain direct coordination with growers, the commercial team, logistics, and warehouse partners.
- Confirm customer orders, ensuring alignment with available volumes, quality, and commercial priorities.
- Support communication and alignment between planning, procurement, and operational teams.
3. Order Management & ERP Administration
- Create and maintain purchase and sales orders in the ERP system.
- Ensure planning data, stock movements, and allocations are accurately reflected in system tools and dashboards.
4. Inventory & Stock Tracking
- Monitor stock levels across inbound shipments, third-party warehouses, and customer platforms.
- Ensure inventory rotation (FEFO) and minimize write-offs or overstock situations.
- Provide up-to-date visibility of stock risks, shortages, or surpluses.
5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain planning reports, including demand vs. supply tracking, forecast accuracy, and stock positions.
- Support the Supply Chain Manager with weekly reports, KPIs, and seasonal planning analysis.
- Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, forecasting accuracy, and cross-departmental communication
Requirements
- Experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, or fresh produce operations.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and planning tools.
- Understanding of perishable supply chains, shelf life, and quality considerations.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple timelines.
- Fluent in English (Spanish is an advantage).

€30,000 – €33,000
