In this role, you will lead healthcare supply chain improvement initiatives that help clients optimize operations, strengthen governance, and achieve sustainable performance outcomes. You will partner with clinical, operational, and executive client leaders to develop and implement transformation strategies, standardize processes, advance implementation activities, and leverage data-driven insights to improve healthcare supply chain performance across complex provider environments.
Responsibilities:
Lead healthcare supply chain improvement and transformation engagements for client organizations.
Develop implementation plans, operational workflows, and governance structures that support sustainable operational performance.
Manage complex cross-functional initiatives and drive project advancement across multiple client workstreams.
Collaborate with clinical, operational, and executive client stakeholders to align priorities and achieve implementation objectives.
Analyze operational data, KPIs, and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and monitor outcomes.
Facilitate process standardization, inventory optimization, spend management, and operational improvement initiatives.
Guide organizational change efforts by providing clear communication, stakeholder engagement, and implementation support.
Leverage ERP systems, analytics platforms, dashboards, and operational data to inform recommendations and measure success.
Apply AI tools to improve productivity, enhance work quality, evaluate AI-generated content, and support operational transformation activities.
Mentor team members and contribute to the development of best practices, methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree preferred.
5 or more years of relevant experience required.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in healthcare supply chain, healthcare operations, spend management, and/or transformation-related roles, including direct experience within provider organizations.
Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives, implementations, or operational transformation programs.
Knowledge of healthcare supply chain operations, procedural workflows, inventory management, operational governance, and performance improvement practices.
Strong project advancement, facilitation, communication, organizational change, and relationship management skills.
Experience developing implementation plans, operational workflows, governance routines, KPI tracking, or process standardization approaches.
Experience with ERP systems, analytics, dashboarding, KPI governance, or operational data environments preferred. Consulting, healthcare operations, or provider-side implementation experience preferred.
Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $206,000.00.
