Major Responsibilities

  • Support the Manager of Supply Chain Optimization with Supply Chain cross-functional projects, including data review, process mapping, process implementation, and will serve as the liaison to external stakeholders.

  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies within the supply chain and develop improvement plans.

  • Collaborates with Supply Chain teammates in reviewing auditing efforts to assess supply chain adherence to system standards, policies and procedures.

  • Works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary teams inside and outside of Supply Chain to facilitate achievement of desired program, patient, and/or financial outcomes.

  • Manages multiple projects, exhibits strong decision-making skills and effectively sets priorities.

  • Collaborates with other teams within Supply Chain to ensure the development of department specific goals and objectives ensuring alignment with system strategy, vision, mission, and values and communicated and aligned across the various teams

Minimum Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare administration, supply chain, or finance or equivalent experience in healthcare field can be used in lieu of degree within noted field of study.

Certification / Registration / License

  • N/A

Experience

  • 1-3 year minimum experience in related field. May be waived based on candidate qualifications or educational focus.

  • Experience working in contracting, group purchasing organization, procurement, or supply chain in a healthcare setting. Non-healthcare industry experience will be considered in lieu of direct healthcare experience

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, interpersonal and communication skills required.

  • Skills in designing, administering, and evaluating programs and practices to maximize department and organizational efficiency.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

  • Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and communication platforms such as MS Teams.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • ​​​This position may require travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions.

  • Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.

  • Exposed to a normal office environment.
