Mission Statement

Serve as a strategic procurement expert, responsible for the accurate and timely execution of procurement activities for GPG-AC Products. Foster collaboration with both local and global suppliers, collaboration with internal cross functional teams , ensure robust data management and reporting, and drive compliance with company procurement policies.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy: Support the implementation and execution of sourcing strategies for direct materials related to GPG-AC INGDC-2877 products. Lead global sourcing initiatives, localization projects, and product transfer strategies for GDC-IN.

Performance Targets: Cost reduction, Drive supplier delivery performance, including On-Time Delivery (SOTD), and supplier forecast accuracy. Oversee both long-term planning and monthly performance monitoring, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Procurement & Delivery: Oversee the execution and tracking of procurement activities for GPG-AC INGDC-2877 products in collaboration with GBS teams. Ensure all procurement is conducted in line with quality, commercial, and company guidelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide timely updates on product delivery to stakeholders. Coordinate production prioritization in alignment with INGDC order requirements and component availability. Act as the single point of contact for EMS and third-party operations, including planning, escalations, issue resolution, capacity management, component shortages, PPV, and OTD. Manage SAP Master Data Governance, including contract management, outline agreements, and master data (material/MDF/delivery/payment terms).

S&OP Process: Actively participate in the S&OP team. Provide suppliers with rolling 18- to 24-month forecasts for GPG-AC INGDC 2877 products. Coordinate with suppliers to secure long-lead components and maintain appropriate stock levels. Initiate procurement actions to expedite component purchases for project deliveries. Adhere to local Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines to ensure effective procurement actions.

Health, Safety & Integrity: Uphold HSE and Integrity standards within the work culture, ensuring that safety and hazard targets are achieved within established timelines.

Job Specification

  • Must have exposure with EMS suppliers, knowledge of electronic component world.
  • Demonstrated expertise in supply chain tactical procurement processes.
  • Proficient in managing consignment excess/obsolete claims, PPV claims, and forecast deviation claims from suppliers.
  • Comprehensive understanding of materials export and import processes.
  • Experience with SAP ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with subcontracting processes.
  • Proven capability in supplier claim and consignment component handling.
  • Ability to manage medium- to long-term supply planning.
  • Expertise in overdue order management and cash management.
  • Advanced skills in MIS reporting, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis).
