The Role:

We're looking for a Supply Chain Operations Specialist to lead the operational integration and ongoing management of our 3PL partnership, domestic and international freight operations, and inventory planning across multiple ERP platforms (SAP & Business Central).

This is a newly created position reporting to the Supply Chain Manager. You will Lead UAT and transition phases for the 3PL warehouse project, own day-to-day 3PL performance management, manage domestic freight operations across AU & NZ, lead international freight optimisation, booking, and reporting for AU, and execute inventory planning in SAP (Amuse & Eye Love concepts) and Business Central (Stationery division).

What You'll Do:

Lead 3PL Project Delivery – Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the 3PL WMS/SAP integration project; Execute UAT test scripts and scenarios as developed by the Group IT; Coordinate with Group IT (Dubai), local IT, and the 3PL provider to resolve integration issues; Lead the operational transition to the 3PL model on the LAWPL side; Be physically present at the 3PL site on a permanent basis during the critical transition window (~2 months pre-go-live, ~1 month post-go-live); Develop and maintain transition risk registers and escalation protocols.

Manage 3PL Operational Performance – Own the weekly 3PL performance review cadence with the provider; Monitor and report on KPIs; Identify performance gaps and drive corrective action plans; Manage the operational relationship with the 3PL provider on a day-to-day basis; Ensure compliance with contractual SLAs and escalate non-conformance.

Manage Domestic Freight – Be the operational owner for domestic freight across ANZ; Conduct monthly performance reviews with the domestic freight provider; Monitor and report freight KPIs; Review and approve monthly freight invoices; Identify and action opportunities for service improvement and cost reduction.

Optimise International Freight (AU) – Lead international freight optimisation initiatives; Manage international freight bookings for LAWPL Australia; Own international freight reporting; Review and approve monthly freight invoices; Conduct weekly performance reviews with the international freight provider; Monitor SLA adherence and drive corrective actions where required; Collaborate with Buying and Supply Chain teams to optimise inbound supply chain efficiency.

Inventory Planning & Buying Coordination – Execute inventory planning and replenishment in SAP for the Amuse and Eye Love store concepts; Manage purchase orders and inventory planning in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central for the Stationery product division; Monitor stock levels and recommend actions; Collaborate with Buying and Merchandising teams to align inventory to demand forecasts; Support seasonal planning cycles and promotional stock requirements.

Collaborate Across Teams – Work in a collaborative manner across all functions; Have a positive attitude and contribute to a constructive team environment; Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues on logistics and supply chain matters; Promote the company’s culture in line with Lagardère AWPL’s vision, values and purpose.

What We're Looking For:

✅ 5–8 years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations

✅ Demonstrated experience managing 3PL relationships and transition projects

✅ Strong working knowledge of SAP (MM/WM modules) and ideally Microsoft Dynamics Business Central

✅ Experience with WMS implementation or UAT processes

✅ International & domestic freight management experience

✅ Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel, Power BI advantageous)

✅ Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

✅ Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business desirable but not mandatory

✅ Retail, travel retail, or FMCG supply chains’ experience preferred

✅ Valid working rights & ability to obtain an Aviation Security ID Card / CILT certification
