Q-Free is a global leader in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). For more than four decades, we have developed technology that improves traffic flow, enhances road safety, reduces emissions, and helps cities, regions, and nations build more sustainable mobility networks. Our tolling solutions, including multi-lane free-flow systems, congestion charging, road user charging, enforcement, fleet management, and truck/ferry tolling, are deployed worldwide and supported by a broad portfolio of advanced hardware and software products.
To strengthen our operations, we are now looking for a Supply Chain Manager to lead the logistics team responsible for production planning, configuration, warehousing, and global delivery. This is a key role in ensuring that our high-volume electronic products and complex roadside system components reach customers and large-scale national programs around the world.
If you thrive in the intersection of technology, production, and global logistics — and enjoy solving complex operational challenges — we would really like to hear from you.
As Supply Chain Manager, you will lead a dedicated logistics team responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the full supply chain for Q-Free’s tolling hardware portfolio. This includes:
annual production of millions of On-Board Units and DSRC devices manufactured by our partner in Singapore
lower-volume but highly complex roadside system components manufactured in collaboration with Norautron in Horten
global shipments of tolling hardware, system components, and complete delivery kits to customers and project sites in Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Americas.
The role is part of the Supply Chain function in Trondheim, reporting to the VP Supply Chain Management.
Lead and develop the tolling logistics team, ensuring clarity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Take end-to-end responsibility for the tolling supply chain, including procurement, supplier follow-up, production planning, inbound logistics, warehousing, inventory management, outbound logistics, customs, export documentation, and compliance.
Coordinate daily and long-term production planning with manufacturing partners in Singapore and Horten, including component availability, capacity management, and variant configuration.
Oversee global deliveries to customers, turnkey system deliveries, and deployment projects.
Ensure accurate BOM management, cost updates, and inputs to bids, tenders, and commercial proposals.
Partner closely with R&D on new product introductions and engineering changes.
Maintain and improve KPIs, processes, and ERP system usage (D365), aligned with the Q-Free Way and ISO-certified management systems.
Support operational tasks when needed to ensure resilience in a small but high-impact team.
Identify risks and opportunities across the supply chain and drive preventive actions.
The most important qualities you bring are strong people leadership skills combined with 5+ years of hands-on experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or production planning.
Furthermore, we believe you meet most of the following criteria:
Experience managing or coordinating supply chain or logistics teams, with a focus on collaboration, prioritization, and continuous improvement.
Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and operational best practices.
Strong ERP skills, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or comparable systems.
Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into clear decisions.
You like to be hands-on and part of day-to-day operation.
Fluency in English and Norwegian, both written and spoken.
Additional experience that will be considered an advantage:
Familiarity with international trade, customs procedures, and global shipping, including DG/battery handling.
Experience working with external manufacturing partners (EMS) or contract manufacturers.
Interest in technology, electronics, or intelligent transportation systems (ITS).
Background from companies delivering configurable or high-variation products.
You enjoy leading and developing people, creating clarity, and helping others perform at their best. You work in a way that is open, structured, and trusting, and you bring calm and direction even when many things are happening at once. You balance strategic thinking with hands-on problem solving, and you collaborate naturally with colleagues across teams, cultures, and functions. You appreciate well-functioning processes but are also comfortable challenging them when improvements are needed. Ultimately, you thrive in a dynamic, global environment where priorities shift, and where teamwork, responsibility, and continuous learning are part of the everyday rhythm.
We’re looking for someone who is motivated by leading people and building a well-functioning supply chain that keeps complex, high-tech products moving across the world.
Whether you’re an experienced supply chain professional ready for your next step, or a seasoned leader eager to refine processes and develop a strong team, we would be happy to hear from you.
If you enjoy working in a global environment, thrive on problem solving, and are committed to creating clarity and flow in an operationally complex setting, you may be exactly the person we’re looking for.
What we offer:
The opportunity to lead a key logistics function in a growing, innovative technology company.
A chance to work with dedicated colleagues across engineering, production, projects, and commercial teams both locally and globally.
Close collaboration with international manufacturing partners and exposure to large-scale, high-impact deliveries.
A supportive culture that values trust, openness, inclusion, and continuous development.

The chance to see the direct impact of your leadership on customers and mobility systems worldwide.
A competitive compensation and benefits package.
