We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager at our Toulouse or Massy site to support the rapid growth.

Reporting to the Deputy VP In-orbit Service, the Supply Chain Manager ensures the daily operational management of suppliers and subcontractors within the framework of space/defense projects, from order placement to delivery, receipt, and acceptance of equipment. He ensures compliance with quality, cost, and schedule requirements according to applicable standards (ECSS, NPR, ARP), manages physical and documentary flows (orders, receipts, returns), and contributes to the control of operational risks in the supply chain. He may be involved in the creation and structuring of processes.

This position will be interacting with Engineering, Legal and Quality as well as external suppliers.

Main responsibilities:

  • Operational management of suppliers

πŸ“Œ Sourcing suppliers in the context of RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, in support of projects/programs, and Business Development / Product), as well as Daily order follow-up, reminders, schedule management, and ERP updates.

πŸ“Œ Receipt and validation of deliveries: document control, recording of receipts, non-conformities, and triggering returns if necessary.

πŸ“Œ Stock management and anticipation: target levels, alert thresholds, cycle counts, and replenishment proposals.

πŸ“Œ Sourcing and information gathering: identification of alternative suppliers, cost/time/Incoterms benchmarking, pre-qualifications with Quality & Program.

  • Internal coordination and operational reporting

πŸ“Œ Updating KPIs (OTD, NCR rate, returns), supply dashboards, and status for project reviews.

πŸ“Œ Logistics and shipments: transport requests, customs, Incoterms, tracking deliveries, and proof of compliance.

πŸ“Œ Coordination with the Strategic Supply Manager and the Supply team to ensure proper reporting of contract information and adherence to deadlines.

πŸ“Œ Support for project reviews: preparation of supplier points, operational risks, and short-term action plans.


Preferred Experience πŸ’β€β™€οΈ

Experience in Supply / Logistics / Operational purchasing Ideally, experience in Supplier management and knowledge of projects life-cycle.
πŸ“Œ Experience in monitoring performance (orders, delivery, supplier). Also experience in the identification and mitigation of operational supply risks.

πŸ“Œ Experience managing contracts and purchase orders

πŸ“Œ Rigour and detail-oriented. Ideally, result-oriented.

πŸ“Œ Practical and pragmatic - ability to turn strategy and plans into concrete actions Ideally, the ability to solve operational problems in a timely manner.
