Tesla is committed to supply chain sustainability efforts. Audits are an important tool in our responsible sourcing efforts, especially when they lead to impactful corrective actions. We expect the number of supply chain audits will increase in the coming years.
We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to oversee and conduct audits in the battery supply chain and supply chains of other critical materials to support our responsible sourcing and compliance efforts. The scope of these audits will include environmental and social conditions, as well as due diligence and traceability management systems. Auditees will be battery cell producers and refiners and mines of critical minerals like lithium, cobalt, nickel, and graphite. The goal of these audits is to improve our suppliers’ sustainability performance and confirm the origin of our sourced materials.
It will work closely with our in-house audit team, external audit firms, as well as our commercial purchasing, supplier industrialization engineering, and legal teams.
This is a full-time position based in Singapore with significant travel (up to 75%) throughout Asia, sometimes on short notice. The ideal candidate is passionate about advancing sustainability in battery and critical mineral supply chains and excels in a dynamic environment.
