Supply Chain Manager

Fargo, ND | Full-Time | Exempt

Badland Batteries and Packet Digital are building the future of secure, U.S.-made battery solutions for drones and unmanned systems. As demand for NDAA-compliant battery technology continues to grow, we're looking for a Supply Chain Manager to lead sourcing, procurement, planning, logistics, and inventory operations.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will have significant influence over supplier strategy, manufacturing scalability, product cost, and operational performance. This is an opportunity to help build America's first dedicated lithium-ion battery cell manufacturing capability for the UAS market.

What You'll Do

• Lead purchasing, planning, inventory, warehouse, and logistics functions.
• Develop sourcing strategies for electronics, battery materials, PCBAs, semiconductors, and other critical components.
• Build and manage domestic and international supplier relationships.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, lead times, and supply agreements.
• Improve supplier performance related to quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost.
• Manage inventory strategies and material planning to support production.
• Mitigate supply chain risks through supplier diversification and contingency planning.
• Support NDAA, traceability, country-of-origin, and other compliance requirements.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Production teams.
• Lead and develop purchasing and inventory staff.

What You'll Bring

• 7+ years of supply chain, procurement, sourcing, operations, or logistics experience.
• 5+ years leading supply chain, purchasing, planning, warehouse, or logistics teams.
• Strong supplier negotiation and relationship management experience.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and inventory management.
• Ability to build scalable processes in a fast-growing manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, defense, electronics, batteries, robotics, drones, or advanced manufacturing.
• Familiarity with NDAA, ITAR, EAR, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
