The role of Supply Chain Manager is based in our Exterior & Lighting Business Group in Lozorno, Slovakia

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high-performance end-to-end supply chain operations with focus on OTIF deliveries, cost efficiency, and optimal inventory levels
  • Manage and optimize supply chain flows (upstream, internal, downstream – SCOOP) to meet customer and business requirementsLead and develop the supply chain team, ensuring clear structure, accountability, and performance management
  • Drive KPI performance across logistics and implement effective action plans to achieve targets
  • Build, manage, and control the logistics budget (transport, handling, labor, warehousing, overheads)
  • Ensure availability of resources (short-, mid-, long-term) for both serial production and service parts
  • Strengthen relationships with key customers and stakeholders, ensuring high service level and effective communication
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives based on lean principles and group standards
  • Ensure alignment with OPmobility standards, processes, and corporate guidelines
  • Support and promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with safety policies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Economics or related field
  • Strong leadership experience managing large teams in a complex environment (min. 5 years)
  • Background in automotive industry is very welcome
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, knowledge of VW Group is highly preferred
  • Proven ability to stabilize, structure, and drive team performance
  • Results-driven mindset with focus on KPIs, efficiency, and execution
  • Ability to operate within a corporate environment with defined standards and processes
  • Fluent in Slovak/Czech and English on at lease Upper-Intermediate level
