Job Description

Our client, a top-notch home appliance company in Vietnam, is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.


  • Develop material plans based on the approved production plan and prepare delivery schedules for all required items.

  • Organize and execute procurement activities in accordance with established procedures; assign tasks, supervise implementation, and compile periodic procurement reports for the Factory Board of Management and the Group Procurement Division in accordance with regulations, as well as ad hoc reports upon request from the Factory Board of Management.

  • Directly resolve outstanding issues and obstacles to ensure that materials and raw materials required for refrigeration production are supplied accurately, sufficiently, and on time.

  • Develop and implement forms, work instructions, and relevant import and export procedures and guidelines for the Supply Department.

  • Advise the Factory Board of Management on improvements to procurement processes with the aim of making them more streamlined and effective.

  • Develop supplier evaluation plans and criteria and participate in supplier assessments.

  • Identify new suppliers and conduct negotiations to improve the quality of materials, raw materials, and services while reducing costs.

  • Participate in new projects and product development programs in the refrigeration industry as requested by the Factory Board of Management.


Requirements


QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade, Economics, Foreign Languages, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in Chinese and/or English, with Chinese preferred, across all four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

  • Strong understanding of procurement operations, import-export procedures, customs clearance, international payments, Incoterms, and UCP.


EXPERIENCE


  • At least five years of experience in procurement and import-export operations, including three years of experience in the home appliance industry and practical experience working in a manufacturing company.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Strong negotiation and bargaining skills.

  • Strong analytical, synthesis, and objective-setting skills.

  • Report preparation and planning control skills.

  • Conflict management and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective time management and teamwork skills.

  • Team management and team motivation skills.


OTHER REQUIREMENTS


  • Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally for business.
