JOB SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Manager manages and oversees the supply chain function for assigned facility. Responsibilities include management of materials, including demand, releases, and receipts using SAP, supplier performance and supply management for assigned suppliers, products and facilities, manage material inventory plans for assigned items, align and coordinate efforts with operations and production planning to ensure timely receipt of all materials, develop unique inventory plans by category and customer, ensure realization of department goals and objectives, execute and maintain functional best practices.

JOB DUTIES
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Manage location capacity planning 13 weeks rolling, in parallel to the labor capacity
• Handle designated customer accounts on a daily basis
• Prepare, set up and train staff on new developments, projects and customers.
• Manage the external demand with our supply constraints to deliver customer service while optimizing our run strategy and establishing run rules
• Reach out for help cross functionally to meet the on time, in full customer expectations
• Establish best practices with demand planning time fences, weekly cadence and external reporting
• Responsible for inventory management and accuracy: inventory aging/usage, cycle count programs and material/finished good dispositions
• Serve as voice of the customer for sales when making priority decisions
• Schedule conference calls with customers or carriers to develop working relationships and interact with customer and carriers via phone or e-mail on a regular basis
• Oversee outbound planning of finished goods
• Analyze SAP reports and data
• Identifies and implement cost reductions
• Manages 4-7 department members
• Ensure material is available to eliminate line downtime
• Assist with the development and implementation and sustainment of policies and procedures
• Identify and drive best practices within total supply chain, including the development of supplier and supply related metrics
• Manage the supplier
• Manage designated customer orders and schedule orders for delivery. Adjust to the changing schedules driven by the customer.
• Recommend potential issues to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs
• Facilitate training on new developments with SAP
• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES
• Experienced in conflict resolution
• Ability to prioritize work based on short and long-term objectives
• Successfully analyzes and presents data to multiple levels of the organization
• Well-developed influence management and project management skills
• Ability to assess customer needs to resolve promptly and efficiently, handle customer issues.
• Proven ability to build customer confidence with proper follow through and diffuse dissatisfied customer or carriers with calm, confident answers or solutions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to write effective e-mails to customers and carriers.
• Ability to handle multiple high-pressure tasks

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• At least 5-7 years of Supply Chain Planning and Materials Management experience
• 5+ years’ experience in managing people with proven ability to handle employee issues.
• 4-year degree in a related program preferred
• ERP Program Experience Required: SAP Preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite, (Excel, Word and Power Point)
• Supply Chain experience in food/perishable manufacturing industries preferred.

The pay range for this full-time, salaried position is $85,788 - $128,682/year. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive based on company and individual performance. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
