Job Description

This position is responsible for building and supporting the overall supply chain strategy, execution, and growth roadmap for the organization. The role is highly cross-functional, providing support across PMO initiatives, distribution center operations, network design, technology enablement, and broader transformation efforts. This position is a strategic utility player, serving as a key partner in scaling the business through operational excellence, analytics, and hands-on program leadership.

GENERAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

  • Expertise in supply chain network design, logistics, and distribution models
  • Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, systems (SAP preferred), and vendor management
  • Data-driven with very strong analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity and thrive in a growth environment
  • Comfortable collaborating with executive stakeholders and frontline teams
  • Deep understanding of KPIs, continuous improvement, and strategic planning

DAILY EXPECTATIONS:

  • Partner with operations, IT, and finance teams to support key distribution initiatives
  • Build and maintain project plans, PMO dashboards, and cadence for supply chain programs
  • Analyze inventory, throughput, labor, and transportation metrics to support decision-making
  • Support distribution leadership with operational tools, SOPs, and WMS improvements
  • Coordinate with merchandising, replenishment, and store operations to ensure alignment
  • Contribute to long-range planning for warehouse capacity, 3PL engagements, and automation
  • Troubleshoot cross-functional bottlenecks and surface risks to leadership

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

  • Build and maintain distribution strategy documentation, timelines, and cost models
  • Support network expansion initiatives including site selection, RFPs, and onboarding
  • Develop supply chain playbooks, reporting tools, and executive updates
  • Lead vendor onboarding processes including data integration and routing compliance
  • Analyze SKU-level data for demand forecasting, slotting, and inventory optimization
  • Facilitate training, project tracking, and documentation for DC transformation initiatives
  • Own the PMO structure for supply chain projects, including SteerCo prep and updates

CAREER PROGRESSION ALIGNMENT:

  • Prepares for Director of Supply Chain
  • Provides enterprise visibility and leadership exposure across departments
  • Builds expertise in network design, PMO, operational excellence, and strategy
