  • Resolve logistics exceptions, damages, or delivery delays promptly, while communicating updates to relevant stakeholders and supporting root cause analysis.
  • Support the Category Manager monitoring carrier performance and transportation costs, contributing to improvement initiatives and assisting in vendor selection and performance evaluations.
  • Enforce transportation safety standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., ADR, DOT), ensuring consistent execution of logistics procedures and SOPs.

Customer Service Management:

  • Oversee customer service representatives to ensure order accuracy, timely responses, and effective issue resolution.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of service-level metrics to drive performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with sales, logistics, and warehousing to resolve customer concerns and ensure a seamless order fulfillment experience.
  • Oversee day-to-day customer service tasks such as order entry, returns processing, account updates, and system documentation to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

Purchasing:

  • Monitor purchasing activities for supplies, materials, and services as directed by the Supply Chain Director.
  • Maintain supplier communication to confirm order status, resolve routine issues, and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Ensure purchase orders are issued accurately and in alignment with internal controls and company procurement policies.
  • Support adherence to compliance requirements, including vendor qualification, documentation standards, and audit readiness.
  • Identify and escalate any deviations from procurement procedures or compliance protocols.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership and management capabilities within complex supply chain environments.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with both quantitative and qualitative proficiency.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to interpret and effectively apply relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in ERP systems and analytical tools such as Power BI.
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude, with a track record of driving operational improvements and cost optimization.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills to meet critical business deadlines.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in supply chain operations, logistics, warehousing, or purchasing.
  • Extensive experience managing complex supply chain functions, preferably in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrable success in strategic purchasing, logistics optimization, and inventory management.
  • Track record of successful collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional business units.
