Our partner is a leading FMCG organization operating a complex, large-scale distribution and logistics network, serving customers through multiple channels across a dynamic and fast-paced business environment. The company manages a 400+ employee warehouse and logistics operation, where operational excellence, customer service, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making are at the core of success. We are currently seeking a Supply Chain & Logistics Director who will take full ownership of the end-to-end supply chain and logistics organization, including the leadership of a 400+ headcount warehousing and logistics operation within a high-volume FMCG environment. This executive-level position combines strategic leadership with operational accountability and offers direct exposure to senior leadership and key business decisions. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the company's supply chain and logistics strategy in line with business objectives Lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including planning, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution Oversee a large-scale warehousing operation with more than 400 employees through multiple layers of management Ensure the optimal balance between service levels, operational efficiency, inventory performance, and cost management Lead and develop a large, multi-layered organization through a team of senior managers and functional leaders Drive business transformation initiatives, organizational change programs, and operational excellence projects Lead large-scale logistics and supply chain transformation efforts, including network redesign, process optimization, and automation initiatives Identify opportunities for continuous improvement through digitalization and technology-enabled solutions Monitor, analyze, and improve supply chain and logistics performance through KPI-driven management Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, strategic partners, and key suppliers Support executive decision-making through data-driven insights, business cases, and strategic recommendations Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, quality, and operational standards Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and people development Requirements University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field Proven senior executive leadership experience within complex supply chain and logistics environments Track record of leading large-scale organizations with multiple management layers Proven leadership experience managing large-scale warehousing operations with 400+ employees Extensive experience in FMCG, retail, e-commerce, distribution, contract logistics, or similarly complex operational environments Strong background in FMCG supply chain and logistics environments with high-volume distribution operations Demonstrated success in developing and implementing business and operational strategies Strong transformation and change management experience, including leading large-scale organizational or operational transformation programs Experience managing significant operational budgets, performance targets, and business KPIs Strong stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills Strategic mindset combined with deep operational understanding Native Hungarian and fluent English language skills Nice to Have Experience launching new logistics centers, distribution facilities, or operational hubs Proven background in supply chain network transformation projects Experience with warehouse automation and logistics technology solutions Hands-on involvement in WMS, TMS, planning systems, or digital transformation initiatives Omnichannel retail and e-commerce fulfillment experience Strong track record in data-driven performance improvement programs Benefits Executive leadership role with significant business impact Opportunity to lead a large-scale FMCG supply chain and logistics organization Direct responsibility for a 400+ employee warehousing and logistics operation Direct collaboration with senior leadership and key decision-makers Complex operational environment with high strategic visibility Opportunity to shape and lead major transformation initiatives Competitive executive compensation package Company car Private health insurance Annual performance bonus Long-term career opportunity within a stable and growing organization
