Position Summary: A Supply Chain Intern supports day-to-day operations across procurement, logistics, inventory, and planning. This role provides hands-on experience analyzing data, improving processes, and supporting supply chain teams in delivering products efficiently.
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Assist with procurement team with purchase orders by monitoring deliveries and maintaining purchase records in Epicor and other related purchasing activities
- Organize and distribute the shortage report for refrigeration
- Expedite orders to align with the production schedule
- Interacts with suppliers to obtain pricing and estimated shipment dates
- Verifies order acknowledgements and pricing.
- Analyze supply chain data using tools like Excel or ERP systems
- Supports a variety of logistical functions, including tracking costs, receiving, purchasing, and dispatching when applicable.
- Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders.
- Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition when applicable
- Participate in meetings to discuss process improvement projects
- Assist with invoice discrepancies from AP to resolve issues
- Assist with purchase reports as required
- Performs other duties as assigned

Education and

Experience:
- Currently pursuing a degree in:
- - Supply Chain Management
- - Business, Logistics, or Operations Management with Dynamics experience.
Schedule / Work Hours
- Part-time position, working up to 29 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling based on school availability and business needs
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting while working on a computer and analyzing data
- Frequent standing and walking through warehouse and production areas as needed
- Occasional lifting and/or moving of items up to 25 pounds
- Use of hands and fingers to operate a computer, handle documents, and perform administrative tasks
- Occasional bending, stooping, or reaching while handling materials or inspecting inventory
- Work performed in both office and warehouse environments, which may include exposure to varying temperatures and moderate noise levels
