Mission statement:

The Head of Supply Chain is responsible for designing, leading, and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations within the market to ensure uninterrupted product availability, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

Location: Bogotá, hybrid model

Main responsibilities:

• Strategic Supply Chain Leadership: Align and optimize the end-to-end supply chain to ensure efficiency, resilience, and seamless product availability. Drive strategic initiatives that support business growth, operational agility, and long-term value creation.
• Demand Planning and Operational Excellence: Ensure accurate demand forecasting through cross-functional collaboration and data-driven insights. Lead performance improvement and digital transformation initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and responsiveness.
• Logistics, Distribution, and Cost Management: Oversee logistics, warehousing, and transportation operations to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant product delivery. Identify and implement cost optimization strategies while maintaining high service levels and regulatory compliance.
• Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management Ensure all supply chain activities adhere to regulatory, quality, and compliance standards. Develop and implement risk mitigation and business continuity plans to safeguard supply reliability and product integrity.
• New Product Launch and Market Readiness: Lead supply chain readiness for new product introductions, ensuring timely availability and alignment with commercial launch plans. Coordinate cross-functional efforts to support successful market entry.
• Cross-functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align supply chain strategies with business objectives and market needs. Foster strong partnerships across functions to enable seamless execution and shared accountability.
• Leadership, Development, and Performance Monitoring: Build and develop a high-performing supply chain team through coaching, mentoring, and continuous learning. Track and analyze key supply chain metrics to drive data-informed decisions and continuous improvement.

Knowledge and Skills:

• 8–10 years in supply chain or market management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
• Experience in forecasting, demand planning, and market analysis
• Proven ability to manage supply chain operations at a market level
• APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) or PMP is a plus
