Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently seeking a Supply Chain First Line Manager to lead the Supply Chain MRO (Maintenance, Repairs, and Overhaul) team based in Jacksonville, FL
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing employees performing supply chain activities within the Boeing Global Services sustainment organization.
The selected candidate will develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, and set operational goals for employees across multiple locations. As Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring resources for projects, providing technical guidance and training to employees, and leading process improvements. Most importantly, you will develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners — all while coaching, developing, and motivating a high-performing team.
Position Responsibilities:
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Manages, develops and motivates employees.
Manages employees performing technical or specialist activities within Product Support.
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
This manager position requires you to have a minimum of one year of leadership experience (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”
5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Sourcing, Supplier Management, and Supply Chain Planning
5+ years of experience in developing and maintaining relationships / partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and cross-functional teams
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office Applications
Ability and willingness to travel domestically 15% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in Department of Defense Supply Chain processes and tools
5+ years of experience in a managerial or team lead role
5+ years of experience in BGS Supply Chain
Strong communication skills

pay range: $114,750.00 - $155,250.00
