What impact you’ll make:

As a Gas Power Global Supply Chain member, the Steam and HRSG Value Stream & Birr factory Finance Manager – Right hand is the key finance partner for the six-manufacturing site of Changwon (Korea), Dongquat (Vietnam), Berlin (Germany), Elblag (Poland), Karlovac (Croatia) and Birr (Switzerland). These manufacturing sites have ~2.9M hours of annual production. This role has oversight over ~$260M of gross production costs, ~$260M inventory and ~$350M CAPEX while driving key performance indicators including labor productivity, utilization and indirect costs per hour (utilities, supplies & tooling, maintenance).

What you’ll do

  • Act as deputy to the Steam and HRSG Value Stream & Birr factory Finance Manager and serve as a key business partner to the Value Stream Operations Leader.
  • Partners with Factory Leaders to set Value Stream specific strategy around Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) focused on driving costs & cash optimization, support Birr factory Lean Roadmap execution.
  • Enhance manufacturing finance activities and rhythms, including planning, pacing, monthly operating reviews (MOR), and closing.
  • Leverage the FP&A function to provide VS- and Birr factory level financials and variance analysis to the VS Operations Leader and reconcile action plans with associated risks and opportunities.
  • Partner with Supply Chain Operations Finance COE team leaders to ensure a consistent and standardized level of support for the SVS and HRSG factories.
  • Lead efforts to operationalize Bowler KPIs in Birr, including labor utilization, labor productivity (PCO), OCPH $/hours and indirect costs, while supporting change management initiatives related to standard tool implementations at other VS factories.
  • Evaluate short- and long-term strategic site reinvestment initiatives, including Capacity Phases II and IV, to ensure delivery of project-level return on investment (ROI), and develop impact analyses on future bill rates, product costs, and factory cost structure.
  • Drive culture of LEAN and standardization across Global Supply Chain (GSC) delivering high impact financial analytics and controls that drives operational accountability.
  • Support the Site Finance Managers to provide insights and transparency to actual costs, aligning site roadmap to develop pipeline to improve or control total cost per unit and bill rates.
  • Birr factory C&B planning & pacing inputs & assumptions (HR & Ops) includes Workforce and capacity calculation, support monthly update sessions.
  • Support major site initiatives for Birr like Smartshop, MRO transformation.
  • Partner with Site Finance Managers and local Controllership teams to ensure factory and legal entity compliance and strengthen plant-level controls.
  • Ad hoc requests and initiatives, such as make vs. buy analytics.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Prior domain expertise in supply chain finance
  • Established leadership experience, proven ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to senior leadership
  • Knowledge of accounting policies and practices, including standard costing, inventory, and fixed assets
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Working knowledge of visualization software: Tableau, Power BI
  • Established project management skills, including relevant experience leading complex initiatives cross functionally
