The Suppy Chain Engineering Project Manager will manage the development of engineering analysis and implementation of engineering projects to direct ongoing continuous improvement and solve supply chain problems in warehousing, transload, cross-dock, and transportation operations. Provides regular and proactive communications to customers and NFI management. The successful candidate will possess excellent technical skills and leadership experience combined with demonstrated interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Preferred:
Lean Six Sigma credentials & experience / Certification LSS. Greenbelt+ level preferred.
Top 25 Global 3PL experience preferred / Fortune 500 company experience
APICS CPIM and/or CSCP certifications. Manufacturing experience and credentials
PMP certification and/or direct 3PL operations implementation experience
Business management consulting experience and/or 3PL sales/business development experience
Experience with warehousing, network, or transportation simulation tools and technologies
Experience with IT development: SQL developer, API/EDI development, Adv MS Access developer
Knowledge in: VBA, Python, R, Matlab, Java, C++, or C# is a major plus

This is a Manager position. Demonstrated independent project management success and effective communication skills are required. This is a client-facing position responsible for leading cross-functional teams in support of project implementation. Expertise in facilitating workshops, team projects, and client consulting engagements is critical. Preferred to be based in one of NFI’s regional offices: Camden, NJ / Irving, TX / Chino, CA / Chicago, IL / Atlanta, GA.
