This role will support a global supply chain finance organization by transforming complex inventory, pricing, and supplier data into actionable insights through Power BI dashboards, reporting, database querying, automation, and advanced Excel analysis. You’ll build metrics and analytical solutions that provide a holistic view of inventory, identify excess and capacity trends, and help business and finance leaders make informed decisions. This is an impactful opportunity for an experienced supply chain analytics professional who enjoys working with large datasets, solving ambiguous business problems, and collaborating across technical, finance, and operational teams.

Top Required Skills (Must Haves):

  1. 5+ years of advanced Power BI, Tableau, and Excel experience developing dashboards, reports, KPIs, and analytical solutions that turn complex data into actionable business insights.
  2. 5+ years of experience working with large datasets, databases, and data querying to analyze supply chain, inventory, pricing, or related operational data.
  3. 5+ years of experience developing automated reporting and analytical deliverables that improve visibility, generate insights, and support business decision-making.
  4. 5+ years of supply chain, inventory management, or related business analytics experience, with the ability to work through ambiguity and translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.

Opportunity Overview:

This role sits within a supply chain finance organization responsible for critical functions including supplier partnerships, pricing, inventory, and supply chain data. You’ll have the opportunity to build dashboards, databases, reporting systems, metrics, and automated processes that give teams greater visibility into inventory and enable better business decisions. The work combines hands-on data analysis and modeling with significant cross-functional collaboration, offering the opportunity to solve challenging business problems and make a measurable impact across supply chain and finance operations.

How you will make an impact:

  • Build and maintain dashboards, databases, reports, and analytical systems supporting supply chain finance and inventory management.
  • Develop KPIs and metrics to track inventory levels, excess inventory, pricing, and other key supply chain performance indicators.
  • Query and analyze large datasets to identify trends, generate insights, test assumptions, and support business decisions.
  • Create automated reporting and analytical processes that improve efficiency, consistency, and visibility across supply chain workstreams.
  • Partner with stakeholders across supply chain, business, finance, and technical functions to gather data, requirements, and business context.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable technical requirements for programmers and developers.
  • Perform data analysis and modeling to better understand inventory, pricing, and operational performance.
  • Maintain and support price database information and related reporting processes.
  • Evaluate business processes and identify opportunities for automation, improved reporting, and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to support decisions regarding system implementations and process improvements.
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, Finance, and technical teams to ensure solutions meet user and organizational needs.
  • Contribute to multiple concurrent projects while meeting established deadlines and deliverables.

The expertise you bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, inventory management, data analytics, business intelligence, or a closely related field.
  • Advanced proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, and Excel for reporting, dashboard development, visualization, and analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience querying databases and working with large, complex datasets.
  • Experience developing automated reports, dashboards, and analytical deliverables that generate actionable business insights.
  • Proven experience developing inventory KPIs, metrics, and reporting solutions.
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills with the ability to identify trends, validate assumptions, and translate data into business recommendations.
  • Experience with automation tools and technologies used for data analysis, inventory management, or reporting.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, database management systems, and business reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated success collaborating across business, finance, technical, and operational teams.
  • Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into clear requirements for technical teams.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to operate effectively in an environment with ambiguity, changing priorities, and complex business requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Consistent employment history demonstrating successful tenure and sustained contribution in previous roles.

What makes a candidate highly successful in this role:

A highly successful candidate combines strong supply chain and inventory knowledge with hands-on business intelligence and data analytics expertise. They are comfortable moving between Power BI, Tableau, Excel, databases, large datasets, automation, and analytical modeling while keeping the underlying business problem at the center of their work. They can independently turn loosely defined requirements into useful dashboards, metrics, reports, and automated solutions, while also communicating effectively with stakeholders across finance, supply chain, business, and technical teams. Candidates who can demonstrate how their previous analytics work generated actionable insights, improved decision-making, or automated manual processes will stand out.
