Job Description

The Supply Chain Coordinator - Level III is responsible for developing and maintaining effective supply and inventory plans that align with customer demand while driving stability across the supply chain. Working with minimal supervision, this role uses statistical analysis, planning systems, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize inventory levels, improve material flow, and support operational and customer service objectives. The position ensures planning accuracy, proactively manages supply and demand risks, and continuously improves supply chain performance through data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute supply, demand, and inventory plans to support customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Perform detailed supply and demand analysis, identifying potential risks, capacity constraints, and inventory imbalances across short- and long-term planning horizons.
  • Monitor demand and inventory signals, investigate exceptions, and implement approved planning parameter adjustments to optimize supply chain performance.
  • Analyze and validate planning parameters such as reorder points, safety stock, inventory targets, and other system settings in support of Plan for Every Part (PFEP).
  • Execute forecasting adjustments and ensure alignment between detailed demand plans and aggregate business forecasts.
  • Drive inventory optimization initiatives using analytical methods to balance customer service, inventory investment, and operational efficiency.
  • Utilize materials planning systems and planning tools, including Kinaxis, to manage material requirements, inventory, and supply planning activities.
  • Coordinate material planning activities with suppliers, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Support supplier management activities by monitoring material availability, resolving supply issues, and escalating risks when necessary.
  • Evaluate supply chain performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), identify improvement opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present analytical reports and recommendations to support planning decisions and business reviews.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning processes, quality, inventory management, material flow, and operational excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards, quality procedures, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Complete required training and contribute to personal and professional development while supporting team objectives.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex supply chain data.
  • Knowledge of supply planning, materials planning, inventory management, and demand planning processes.
  • Experience applying Plan for Every Part (PFEP) principles and inventory optimization techniques.
  • Proficiency in materials planning systems and ERP platforms, with experience using Kinaxis preferred.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain KPIs and the ability to balance service, inventory, and operational objectives.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, forecasting methodologies, and planning parameter optimization.
  • Supplier management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with analytical tools and databases.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complexity, prioritize effectively, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment while embracing diverse perspectives and promoting collaboration.

Experience

  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in supply chain, materials planning, production scheduling, manufacturing, inventory management, or a related field.
  • Experience in material planning, supplier management, and inventory management within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Kinaxis and enterprise materials planning systems is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to analyze supply chain performance, optimize planning parameters, and improve inventory and service outcomes.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience required.
  • Additional education or technical training in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Operations, Manufacturing, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Export control or sanctions-related licensing may be required based on business needs.
