As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the Netherlands, Taiwan and Teesside branches remotely from our Great Yarmouth office, ensuring the effective management of procurement, supplier performance, stock control, and operational communication. Working as part of the PIM / Oracle team and reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining product availability, driving supplier performance, and supporting efficient day-to-day branch operations through proactive planning and coordination.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including the creation, maintenance, and review of purchase orders

• Monitor and manage the purchase order book, ensuring orders are placed and delivered in line with business requirements
• Expedite outstanding orders, working closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and accurate information is provided throughout the process
• Track, trace and communicate order progress, delivery schedules, and supplier updates to key stakeholders
• Monitor and proactively manage stock levels across the Netherlands and Teesside branches to maintain product availability
• Identify and manage potential stock shortages, excess inventory, and replenishment requirements
• Coordinate and manage depot transfers between branches, identifying opportunities to reduce transfer frequency and volume
• Work closely with suppliers to resolve account issues, including credit holds and stop statuses, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
• Collaborate with the Sales team to identify potential shortages, MOV and MOQ challenges, and implement solutions proactively
• Maintain Certificate of Conformity documentation and ensure accurate record keeping and audit trails
• Coordinate and manage branch stock takes from planning through to completion and reconciliation
• Assess daily workload, prioritise activities and ensure critical tasks are completed effectively
• Act as a key communication link between Sales, Purchasing, Warehousing and Suppliers to ensure alignment and efficient operations
• Maintain accurate procurement, inventory and supplier records within Oracle and PIM systems
• Provide general operational and administrative support and additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

Other requirements

• Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, stock control or operational coordination
• Experience working with ERP systems, ideally OGL
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Self-motivated and highly organised, able to multitask and work to tight deadlines
• High focus on accuracy and attention to detail
• Proactive and able to use initiative
• Team player with a flexible approach
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
• Experience of supplier management and expediting activities would be advantageous
