  • The purpose of the role is to lead detailed supply chain analysis, forecasting, stock reporting and operational insight to enable the business to move from reactive issue management to proactive control. The Supply Chain Coordinator will turn data into clear actions, risks and recommendations that support stock availability, inventory accuracy, engineering readiness, service delivery and cost control.

As the business prepares for growth this role will be critical in building scalable reporting routines, demand and usage visibility, engineer onboarding and demobilisation controls, and exception-based management across the stock environment. The role will work closely with the Stock Manager to ensure supply chain decisions are supported by accurate data, clear trends and forward-looking analysis

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the production, maintenance and continuous improvement of supply chain reporting, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely, insightful and action orientated.

  • Develop and maintain demand, usage and forecasting models across key asset and consumable categories, using actual install rates, engineer usage, customer demand, planned operational activity and known business growth assumptions.

  • Analyse short, medium and long-term stock requirements to support availability across engineer vans, PUDO locations, CHH warehouse stock and any other agreed stock holding points.

  • Produce regular stock reports covering availability, coverage, fulfilment, asset status, under investigation stock, aged issues, stock movements, exceptions, variances and emerging risks.

  • Provide proactive recommendations to the Stock Manager where stock levels, run rates, forecast accuracy, lead times or operational changes indicate potential risk to service, cost or customer confidence.

  • Maintain and improve reporting routines that support daily, weekly and monthly governance meetings, including clear commentary, trend analysis, root cause and recommended actions.

  • Use data from Qlik, JobWatch, logistics partner outputs, supplier information and internal trackers to create a single, reliable view of stock performance and operational risk.

  • Identify stock anomalies and data integrity issues, investigate root cause and work with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues and prevent repeat failure.

  • Support the Stock Manager with inventory governance, stocktake preparation, variance analysis, reconciliation activity and closure of stock-related actions.

  • Own the supply chain reporting and control elements of engineer onboarding, ensuring new starters have agreed stock profiles, assets, consumables, logistics setup and reporting visibility in place before go-live.

  • Own the supply chain reporting and control elements of engineer demobilisation, ensuring returned stock, missing assets, aged actions and financial exposure are tracked, escalated and closed.

  • Maintain accurate engineer stock, van stock and profile data to support replenishment, stock allocation, operational planning and performance reporting.

  • Analyse failed deliveries, stock shortages, overstocking, understocking and engineer behavioural trends, escalating issues to Field Operations and relevant stakeholders with clear evidence.

  • Support supplier and logistics partner performance reviews through reliable data packs, including service performance, fulfilment, stock accuracy, delivery exceptions and recurring failure themes.

  • Build and maintain KPI dashboards, trackers and reporting packs that help the Supply Chain team manage by exception and focus effort on the highest-risk areas.

  • Lead or support supply chain improvement projects that reduce manual reporting, improve forecast accuracy, strengthen stock control or improve engineer readiness.

  • Document reporting logic, data sources, controls and standard ways of working to reduce dependency on individuals and improve team resilience.

  • Work closely with the Admin Manager, Supply Chain Administrator and Procurement Specialist to ensure reporting supports procurement activity, returns visibility, invoice validation and supplier follow-up where required.

  • Escalate issues early and clearly where analysis identifies risk to stock availability, customer delivery, inventory accuracy, cost, compliance or operational performance.

  • Support the wider department with any duties as assigned and deemed required by the Stock Manager or Head of Supply Chain.

Qualifications, key skills and experience required:

  • Adaptable and flexible approach to work with a genuine willingness to improve processes and learn new systems.

  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team while using own initiative to solve problems.

  • High level of numeracy and literacy skills.

  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel capability essential.
