The Supply Chain Business Systems Analyst supports all supply chain related business systems across the health system. The role reports to the Manager, Supply Chain Systems. You support purchasing, inventory, distribution, procedural areas, and clinical supply workflows through system support, data analysis, and reporting. You work with supply chain operations, IT, finance, and external vendors to maintain system performance, data accuracy, and reporting used for operational and financial decisions.

Supply Chain Systems Support

  • You provide functional support for healthcare supply chain systems including ERP, point of use systems, OR and procedural inventory platforms, and item master tools.
  • You perform select system configuration changes within defined access and governance standards.
  • You coordinate system issues, enhancements, and upgrades with IT teams and third party SaaS vendors.
  • You analyze and document supply chain workflows across hospitals, procedural areas, distribution, and clinics.

Reporting, Analytics, and Data Quality

  • You develop and maintain standard dashboards related to supply expense, inventory performance, contract compliance, and clinical consumption.
  • You respond to moderately complex ad hoc reporting requests from operational and clinical leaders.
  • You create and maintain KPI dashboards using Excel, Power BI, ERP reporting tools, and basic SQL where applicable.
  • You monitor and improve data quality across item master, vendors, contracts, pricing, and consumption data.
  • You automate recurring reports and ensure consistent data definitions and refresh schedules.

Cross Functional Collaboration and Support

  • You work with perioperative services, nursing, materials management, finance, and IT to understand operational needs.
  • You translate business and clinical requirements into clear system or reporting requirements.
  • You provide end user support and basic training, including job aids and workflow guidance.

Process Improvement and Project Support

  • You lead small scoped initiatives related to inventory accuracy, stockout reduction, workflow improvement, and supply waste reduction.
  • You support larger system level projects impacting supply chain systems and processes.
  • You document current and future state workflows and recommend process, policy, or system improvements.
  • You support system go lives, new facility onboarding, integrations, and automation initiatives.

On Call and Support Coverage

  • You participate in a rotating after hours support schedule with other team members.
  • You provide local travel support when needed for system issues or project work.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE:

  • Three to five years of cumulative experience in healthcare supply chain, business systems, or analytics roles.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare supply chain processes.
  • Experience supporting ERP or enterprise supply chain systems in a healthcare environment.

SKILLS:

  • Strong Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, and data validation.
  • Ability to explain technical information to clinical and non-technical users.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with point of use or clinical supply management systems.
  • Experience working with SaaS vendors and external system partners.
  • Knowledge of EHR integration workflows.
  • Familiarity with GPO contracting and supply standardization.

SKILLS:

  • Basic Power BI and SQL experience.
