We’re helping our client find a Supply Chain Associate to manage order fulfillment to retail partners, inbound logistics, and packaging procurement. In this role, you will execute end-to-end supply chain operations while contributing to cost optimization, supply reliability, and continuous process improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute the end-to-end fulfillment lifecycle for purchase orders from our retail partners, including releasing inventory, coordinating freight, and invoicing.
  • Work closely with Suppliers, Distribution Centers and Carriers to ensure on time, in full, in quality supply of all products
  • Manage inbound logistics to Distribution Centers, with a focus on cost effective transportation for all ingredients, packaging, and marketing materials.
  • Place purchase orders and track inventory levels and ensure proper safety stock coverage based on forecast for packaging category and other assigned categories
  • Help build and maintain the supply plan and share forecasts with suppliers
  • Leverage available data and reports to understand operations performance and drive insights and improvements
  • Work on initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of inbound supply chain processes, including waste management and cost savings opportunities
  • Complete regular reporting on various metrics such as inventory health or supplier performance KPIs
  • Manage the administrative lifecycle of supply chain costs, including invoice reconciliation for 3PLs/carriers and maintaining accurate freight cost logs
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams across the organization
  • Contribute to improving product value and customer experience

Requirements

Must-Have:

  • 2 to 4 years experience in supply chain or procurement operations
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • A degree in supply chain, business, engineering, other relevant area of study; or comparable work experience.
  • Excellent Excel and analytical skills, for example using pivot tables and v-lookups.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications
  • Quick to learn new systems and tools such as Warehouse Management and EDI portals
  • Proactive, ambitious, and assertive: you take ownership of your work and should think beyond the scope of a given assignment.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented: you have well-honed strategies for never missing a deadline or overlooking a key detail, and are comfortable juggling multiple priorities at once.
  • Ability to thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving, and constantly evolving high-growth environment
  • This position's essential functions demand the performance of the following physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation:
  • Prolonged periods working at a desk and on a computer
  • Reading information on a computer screen and inputting data into a computer system
