Responsible for day-to-day management of a technical project and to run this within the triple constraints described in the project plan. Responsible for the project supply chain deliverables, from project plan to final delivery, to realize its deliverables that will support the business case of the overall program.
Introduction to the job
As a Supply Chain and Sourcing manager within the ASML Strategic Sourcing and Procurement sector (SS&P), you will make a real difference by driving the end-to-end introduction and industrialization of ASML’s products from a Logistics, Cost, and Quality point-of-view, following ASML’s Product Generation Process (PGP). To achieve this, you will be using your unique mix of technical, creative, and people skills to lead and coordinate natural teams both at ASML and at suppliers.
Role and responsibilities (Final)
Define,secureandmonitorthe supply chain and sourcing NPI and industrialization deliverables in the Product Generation Process(PGP) to successfully deliver volume-worthy products, including alignment on the SS&P sector’s KD decisions and driving D&E (Development&Engineering) deliverables.
Identifyand manage supply chain risks, acting as the voice of the suppliers within product teams. Conduct assessments on material availability, including supplier move-rate capabilities and long-leadtimeitem
Drive,monitorand report-out on Cost of Goodsroadmap vs. target on Cluster in close collaboration with the SS&P clusters/commodities in Business Line and across SPFT’s/Supplier account teams.
Prepare yearly OPEX/CAPEXforecast and manage spend within budget for Supplier NRE (Non-recurring expenses) andtooling&packaging, including monitoring throughout the year.
Proactively solve QLTC(Quality, Logistics, Technology, Cost) in collaboration with internal (engineering and procurement/sourcing) and external stakeholders (suppliers) and organize periodic management reviews.
Collaborateclosely with cross-functional team (engineering, factory, field, suppliers) representatives in product teams to ensure alignment and integration of KD deliverables, together with a team of PLM Product Coordinators. Mobile resources if needed to fulfill the plans.
Apply Early Supplier Involvementand Concurrent Engineeringmethodologyto secure the required introduction timeline, including defining Complex Part List, and coordinating Make/Buy decisions and Supplier Selections w/the Supplier Account Teams.
Identifybottle necks, preparedecisionsand take actions towards engineering, suppliers, factories as well as the field to manage the critical pathof new parts for time-to-market and ramp up.
First point of contactfor supply chain operations aspects and related issues in the cross-sector project cluster team and direct counterpart of the Module Delivery Unit (MDU)-lead.
Reportpro-activelyon project status to relevant senior stakeholders, ensuring transparency and timelyupdates, including activities,milestonesand resources.
Represent SS&P in the AIR(ASML Issue Resolution)triage, managing AIR issues related to SS&P and End of Life/Supply.
Drive continuous improvement initiativeswithin SS&P function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
By fulfilling these responsibilities, you will play a crucial role in the successful industrialization and introduction of ASML’scutting-edgeproduct, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality, costefficiencyand performance.
Education and experience
Technical or Supply Chain Bachelor's degreerequired Master's degree preferred.
A minimum of 6 years' relevant work-experience in a NPI environment preferably in a high-tech industry
Proventrack recordin project management and leading multi-disciplinary teams
Proventrack recordto improve efficiency and effectivity in technical production environment
Experience in interfacing with suppliers on industrialization targets preferred
Experience in out-of-the-box creative problem solving
Experience in bottleneck management of manufacturing processes
