Job Description

The Business Process Analyst Intern is responsible for working with the Parts and Supply Chain Management team and the Director of Parts to map out current company processes. The Business Process Analyst will assist in creating Standard Operating Procedures, Identifying bottlenecks in processes, and suggesting changes to fix them. Optimal candidates will be recent graduates or in the third or fourth year of an ABET accredited college studying process optimization.

Duties & Responsibilities

    • Automate processes using Software and/or Artificial Intelligence.
    • Accurately research current processes and map them.
    • Proactively work with teams to understand current processes.
    • Recommend Process improvements to current system.
    • Write Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Job Requirements

    Experience and Competencies:

    • Minimum three (3) years’ college experience in Project Management, Industrial Engineering, or Business Analysis.
    • Strong proficiency with MS Office and AI tools including creation of spreadsheets, macros, databases, generative web development, and data mining
    • Ability to interpret and navigate aircraft manuals, project tracking software, and databases.
    • Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize work accordingly.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Education:
      • Prefer 2 to 3 years of college

Other Prerequisites

    • Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
    • Ability to obtain Airport Issued security badge

Working Environment

    • Work is primarily performed indoors in a temperature-controlled environment. Requires sitting 6-8 hours a day and sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes which permits the employee to function in a general office environment.
