The Supply Chain and Operations Systems Architect is an integral part of our Digital Information Delivery team based out of our US - Teaneck, NJ - Remote site.

Position Details

The Supply Chain and Operations System Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-level supply chain and operations platforms. This role bridges business strategy and technical execution, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient systems that support global supply chain processes, procurement, logistics, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and document the end-to-end architecture for supply chain and operations systems including ERP integrations (e.g., SAP, Oracle Fusion, EBS, JD Edwards, Dynamics 365 F&O) and design the supporting workflows for demand planning, order management, warehouse operations, procurement, inventory, logistics, and transportation management
  • Architect inbound/outbound integrations with CRM, finance, and analytics platforms using APIs, middleware, and cloud services (Azure, AWS).
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies for supply chain visibility, AI-enabled tracking, and operational dashboards (Power BI, advanced analytics).
  • Ensure compliance with security, scalability, and performance standards across global operations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including BRM, PMO, functional consultants, developers, business analyst and QA engineers to deliver robust solutions.
  • Provide architectural guidance during system upgrades, migrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Align solutions with enterprise architecture principles and frameworks.
  • Author comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications Documents (FSD), and Technical Specifications Documents (TSD) to clearly articulate business needs, functional workflows, and technical designs for supply chain and operations solutions.
  • Maintain documentation for architecture decisions, integration patterns, and operational KPIs.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 17+ years of experience in IT industry
  • 10+ years of experience in systems architect role
  • Expertise in ERP platforms (example, SAP, Oracle Fusion, JD Edwards, EBS, Dynamics 365 F&O), integration technologies, and cloud architecture.
  • Experience in supply chain processes: procurement, inventory, logistics, and manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, and integration frameworks.
  • Familiarity with third party integrations to ERP such as quality, transportation, regulatory, planning, forecasting
  • Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), quality management platforms, and regulatory compliance systems to ensure alignment with QA/QC standards and industry regulations.
