Under the direction of the Logistics Supervisor, the Supply Chain and Logistics Analyst provides insights, data and operational support to ensure highly efficient and cost effective workflows for both inbound and outbound shipments related to barge, truck and rail for Mintek Resources. The Supply Chain and Logistics Analyst will improve the efficiency of our supply chain and dispatch teams, identify cost effective material moves and uncover ways to better support both our in-house and 3rd party supply partners. Key deliverables will include data collection, analysis and reporting, providing actionable insights gleaned from a deep understanding of the data and supporting the ideation process for system and workflow improvement opportunities. This role is responsible for monitoring inventory levels, managing and organizing supply chain data, identifying areas for cost improvement, and collaborating across departments to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics operations. This position will require strong analytic capabilities, a working understanding of the Mintek supply chain and dispatch function, as well a strong attention to detail, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
