We are seeking an individual with excellent communication skills to join our team at Mintek Resources as the Supply Chain Coordinator! Under the direction of the Supply Chain Supervisor the Supply Chain Coordinator provides support for all areas of Mintek Resources. The Supply Chain Coordinator will handle customer orders, vendor inventories, logistics for material movements, quotations and other functions as needed in the day-to-day business of Mintek Resources. Responsibilities & Duties:
Intake of customer orders via email or phone
Daily inventorying of all plants in territory
Daily communication and coordination with Sales staff
Coordination of all deliveries to customer sites
Daily communication with trucking companies in territory
Develop and build relationships with existing and new trucking companies
Request and record freight rates for customer deliveries
Load setup and coordination in logistics systems (Salesforce, Transwide, SAP)
Movements of materials to secondary processors
Coordination and movement of materials into and out of Mintek storage facilities
Sample management and data entry
Job Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Experienced in Microsoft Office
Good planning and organizational skills
Team player, good intrapersonal skills
Ability to multi-task with several simultaneous accounts/orders
Self-motivated, proactive and task oriented
Previous experience in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment is preferred
Previous experience with logistics, trucking, order fulfillment or other similar industries are preferred
Previous experience in Salesforce is preferred
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
