Job Description

Procurement

  • Works with production to purchase packaging, inks, chemicals, compounds, and other miscellaneous items.
  • Monitors the purchasing inbox to address supplier questions, adjust purchase order promise dates based on order confirmations and respond to internal inquires.
  • Creates and maintains on time delivery reporting for suppliers.
  • Supports supply scorecard creation.
  • Supports updating and maintaining supplier information in the ERP system such as pricing, minimum and incremental order quantities, and safety stock settings.
  • Participates in supplier evaluations.

Production Scheduling

  • Maintains work order dates in MAS.
  • Performs regular review of outdated work orders and takes necessary action to close or update dates.
  • Creates the daily short stock report.
  • Supports creation of production adherence reports.
  • Performs on-going review and analysis of processes and procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Supports scheduler in optimizing production schedule to maintain customer satisfaction and on time delivery.

Forecasting

  • Leads internal SKU‑level demand forecasting process by validating and maintaining customer forecasts in the Demand Planning system.
  • Manages forecast data within the ERP system which drives MRP demand and guides manufacturing schedule.

Position Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Accounting, or Engineering preferred, will consider other professional experience in lieu of a degree.

Experience:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of Supply Chain experience, including inventory management, logistics or planning

Certifications/Licenses:

  • None.

Language Proficiency:

  • Fluent in English.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong Microsoft Office experience with an emphasis in Excel. Must have working knowledge of Excel formulas, pivot tables and graphing.
  • Experience with ERP and/or advanced planning systems.
  • Familiarity with inventory control philosophy and practices

Physical Characteristics and Demands

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25-50 lbs.
