Education and Years of Experience:
1) Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Econ, Business, Finance or similar
2) 1-3 years in planning / risk management / finance in logistics environment (preferred)
Job Responsibilities:
o Monitor, analyze key operational/financial indexes on a regular basis
o Find root causes for discrepancies between actual performance and forecast
o Analyze issues, make reports/recommendations as requested by team leader / head of department
• Investigate claim requests to determine if valid
• Communicate with vendors to recover on claims
• Gather and analyze claims related documentation
• Support ad-hoc reports
Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Finance or similar
• Expertise with SAP and Excel and Power Point skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to manage and work effectively within cross-functional groups.
• Ability to adapt quickly and be flexible in a dynamic environment
• Experience using advanced supply chain management, enterprise planning or financial planning systems is highly desired. (SAP, etc.)
• Should have advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint knowledge and skills.
• Strong communication, both written (PPT presentations) and oral skills.
• The ability to work either independently or in a team environment to achieve personal and team project goals, including the completion of assignments within and exceeding established time frames.
Minimum Requirements:
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related accounting software.
Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
