Your Mission

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for monitoring and expediting the flow of materials, components, and information throughout the supply chain to ensure customer orders and production schedules are met. This position works closely with Purchasing, Planning, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Engineering, to proactively identify and resolve material shortages, delivery delays, and production constraints.

The role acts as a key liaison between internal departments ensuring materials are available when needed while minimizing disruptions to manufacturing operations.

How you will make a difference

Material Expediting

• Monitor open purchase orders and supplier commitments to ensure on-time material delivery.
• Proactively follow up with team members regarding overdue deliveries, shortages, and potential delays.
• Expedite critical materials and components required to support production schedules and customer orders.
• Coordinate recovery plans with suppliers when delivery commitments are at risk.

Production Support

• Track material availability for planned production orders.
• Communicate material shortages and potential production impacts to Planning and Operations teams.
• Work with Production, Purchasing, and Inventory Control to prioritize critical orders.
• Assist in resolving shortages through alternate sourcing, inventory transfers, or supplier escalation.
• Confirm ship dates, tracking information, and order status on critical materials.

Inventory and Planning Support

• Assist planners in managing material constraints and balancing supply with demand.

Reporting and Communication

• Maintain accurate records of supplier communications and expediting activities.
• Provide regular status updates on critical shortages, recovery plans, and supplier performance.
• Generate reports on open orders, late deliveries, and material shortages.
• Participate in daily production and supply chain review meetings

What you should be good at

• Comprehensive understanding of supply chain, purchasing, inventory control, and manufacturing processes.
• Associate degree in business administration, supply chain management, operations management or a related field required (equivalent experience may be considered). Bachelor degree preferred.
• Minimum two years’ experience in purchasing, planning, supply chain, customer service, manufacturing, or inventory management required.
• Minimum two years’ experience with ERP systems such as IFS, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD) or willingness to pursue certification.
• Ability to work effectively across Operations, Purchasing, Planning, and Customer Service functions.

• Compensation: This is a salaried exempt position with a pay range from $63,648 - $95,472 per year. Pay will be based on qualifications and experience.
• Location: This role is based at the Deublin Company facility in Waukegan, IL. The role will be Onsite five days per week, with the opportunity to transition to Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote) based on performance following a 90-day introductory period.
