A Brief Overview

The Supply Chain Analyst - IT Systems Solutions is a highly motivated individual supporting the Global Supply Chain Systems team within the Merz Aesthetics Global Supply Chain organization. The Incumbent will be a highly versatile Anaplan & Power BI Developer to support enterprise planning and analytics initiatives within a small IT team. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Anaplan models and Power BI reporting solutions, while working closely with business stakeholders across supply chain, finance, and operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can operate independently, manage competing priorities, and bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions and have 2+ years of technical proficiency in tools like Anaplan, Power BI and Excel and possess strong analytical and communication skills.

What You Will Do

  • Anaplan Development & Support:
    • Design, build, and maintain scalable Anaplan models for planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis
    • Translate business requirements into Anaplan model architecture, modules, lists, and dashboards
    • Support model lifecycle management, version control, testing, and documentation
    • Troubleshoot model issues and provide ongoing production support
  • Power BI Development & Analytics
    • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI for business users
    • Build and optimize data models, DAX measures, and calculated columns
    • Design data transformations using Power Query (M language)
    • Publish and manage reports within Power BI Service, including workspace and security management
  • Data Integration & Management
    • Design and manage data pipelines between systems (Anaplan, Power BI, ERP, databases)
    • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and ensure data integrity across platforms
    • Work with IT and business teams to improve data structures and accessibility
    • Optimize model performance, calculations, and user experience following Anaplan and Power BI best practices.
  • Other responsibilities
    • Articulate a clear and compelling vision aligned with the global cultural tenets and strategic objectives of the company.
    • Clearly define roles and responsibilities while holding members accountable for their performance.
    • Develop talent and skills of individual team members.
    • Empower leaders and employees to make informed decisions, enabling autonomy while providing guidance and support.
    • Ensures timely and accurate execution of essential people manager responsibilities (business hygiene, for example goal setting, performance management, etc.) and HR compliance requirements.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Information Systems, or Data Analytics, Supply Chain or Finance
  • 2+ years Anaplan model building
  • 2+ years Power BI development
  • 2+ years DAX and Power Query (M), Data modeling and relational database concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, small team environment
