This role serves as the critical link between Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Purchasing, and Material Planning teams, ensuring accurate material visibility, proactive shortage management, and optimized build plans. The incumbent leverages advanced analytics, ERP tools, and cross-functional collaboration to drive informed business decisions and improve supply chain performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform Bill of Materials (BOM) reconciliation by validating production build plans and MPS requirements against on-hand inventory, open purchase orders, and supplier commitments.
  • Conduct Clear-to-Build (CTB) analysis and calculations to determine material coverage and identify potential production constraints based on MPS, build plans, and demand forecasts.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report key supply chain metrics, including CTB performance, material availability, shortages, and supply visibility KPIs.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the CTB master tracker, ensuring real-time visibility of material status and production readiness.
  • Identify critical material shortages, assess business impact, and support allocation decisions to minimize production disruptions.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Purchasing, Material Planning, and Production Planning teams to align priorities and resolve supply-related issues.
  • Develop data models, dashboards, and reports using advanced analytics tools to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Analyze inventory positions, supply commitments, and demand fluctuations to recommend actions that improve revenue attainment and customer fulfillment.
  • Drive process improvements related to material planning, CTB tracking, reporting automation, and supply chain visibility.
  • Support management reviews by providing accurate analyses, insights, and recommendations on supply chain performance and risks.
  • Complies at all times with Safety and Quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Material Planning, Inventory Control, CTB Analysis, Production Planning, or related functions within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience working with ERP/MRP systems and managing complex material planning activities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, complex formulas) and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms.
  • High proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP and Oracle, with the ability to leverage system data for supply chain analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning fundamentals, inventory management, and material flow.
  • In-depth knowledge of multi-level BOM structures, BOM reconciliation, and product configuration management.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, APICS, or other supply chain certifications are preferred but not required.
  • Exposure to electronics, semiconductor, automotive, or similar manufacturing industries is an advantage.
