The Supply Chain Analyst is a key contributor within the Category Management team, responsible for delivering rigorous financial, operational, and market analyses that directly inform sourcing strategies and procurement decisions. This role transforms complex data into clear, actionable insights that improve cost transparency, mitigate risk, ensure contract compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain. The Analyst partners closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to enable data‑driven decisions that enhance efficiency, value creation, and long‑term business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed financial analyses to support strategic sourcing initiatives, including spend segmentation, supplier performance assessment, and measurement of sourcing outcomes against cost, performance, and value objectives.
Analyze large, complex data sets to identify trends, forecast demand, and generate actionable insights that support supply chain planning and category strategies.
Develop, maintain, and enhance Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models, supplier profiles, commodity dashboards, and market intelligence tools.
Produce forecasting models, cost drivers, and industry research to support cost optimization, risk mitigation, and sourcing recommendations.
Monitor contract compliance and performance metrics, identify variances, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and improve adherence.
Prepare and deliver quarterly and ad‑hoc spend reports, delivering clear insights, trend analysis, and actionable recommendations to leadership.
Document supply chain and procurement workflows; lead or support process improvement initiatives that increase accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
Support the development and execution of RFQs/RFPs, including bid analysis, supplier evaluations, and performance scorecards.
Maintain the contract and agreement repository in SharePoint, ensuring documents are accurate, well‑organized, and easily accessible.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Finance, Legal, and other business units, to support strategic initiatives, drive process improvements, and achieve organizational objectives.
Support fleet management operations through the analysis and reporting of vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, maintenance performance, lifecycle costs, vendor services, and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, advanced formulas) and Power BI, with strong data modeling and visualization capabilities.
Proven ability to perform complex quantitative analysis and translate results into clear, business‑relevant insights.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
High attention to detail, sound judgment, and strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
