Job Description

• Cost responsible for PCBA supply chain topics. Primarily with our EMS, but also with distributors, component manufacturers and other suppliers
• RFI, RFQ and price negotiations with EMS, distributors, component manufacturers and other suppliers
• Daily coordination with internal and external partners for all matters related to cost, price and invoice issues
• Sourcing for new suppliers to improve supply chain resilience, variability and cost
• Supplier relationship management and supplier development for EMS, distributors, component manufacturers as well as other suppliers
• Collaboration with development teams for second source development to improve supply chain resilience, variability and cost.
• Analysis of supply chain cost to create better understanding of cost drivers
• Responsible for maintaining, improving and developing new systems and processes for cost and direct purchasing.
• Support of planning, NPI and other teams in other PCBA supply chain tasks.
• Participation and management of supply chain projects

• BS or MS degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain or a similar field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience with PCBA procurement/sourcing/cost management
• Must have a good understanding of PCBA and EMS supply chains as well as the industry with the ability to identify and develop strategic needs.  
• Broad supplier network within the distributor and component manufacturer world.  
• Strong analytical capabilities with the drive to develop, analyze and understand data to initiate strategic initiatives.
• Strong negotiator with experience in driving cost-down, initiating RFI, RFQ and other sourcing activities
• Ability to build and maintain strong networks.
• Proactive, dynamic and well-organized personality with the drive to grow and improve personally as well as professionally.
• Excellent communication skills, with a track record of working independently in an international environment and with cross-functional teams.
